The Opportunity
We are looking for Junior Legal PA to support our Corporate Finance team. Operating with confidentiality and professionalism, this role requires adaptability and a client service mind-set. Communication skills are important, together with a proactive approach. Taking ownership of tasks through to completion and going above and beyond to fulfil business needs. You’ll have an opportunity to develop an strong internal and external network. Role and key responsibilities
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings with stakeholders to discuss actions, priorities, expectations and future planning. Attend team meetings, maintain a flexible approach and adopt blended working to accommodate stakeholder and client needs.
- Efficiently manage diaries and mailbox by agreement. Act as a liaison point for colleagues and clients. Assist with client queries during stakeholder absences.
- Organise and plan meetings, arrange necessary travel, equipment and refreshments using available technology and resources.
- Take ownership of tasks and delegate effectively across dedicated support teams in line with the Scope of Service. Monitor task progress and proactively communicate with stakeholders to meet deadlines.
- Undertake urgent and short document work. Collaborate with our document production team for larger documents utilising our dedicated software.
- Manage the client and matter opening process, including electronic filing, collaborating with stakeholders and other business support teams.
- Assist in providing financial administrative support to stakeholders by coordinating with billing and finance teams, ensuring compliance with legal, firm-wide and practice-specific policies and procedures.
- Support marketing and business development activities, including meet and greets.
- Manage electronic filing, records maintenance and expenses effectively using the firm's designated software.
- Create and maintain data sites for efficient collaboration.
- Support process improvements by sharing ideas and contributing to solutions, embracing technologies that improve our ways of working.
- Leverage the firm’s technology as a key business tool for reporting and research.
Skills and experience
- Experience working within a comparable professional setting, allowing for seamless adaptation to a busy environment.
- Committed to consistently delivering client service excellence and ensuring stakeholders’ requirements are completed.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally. Collaborate effectively with colleagues, contributing to a positive team environment.
- Proficient in communication and interpersonal interaction, confidently engaging with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Basic understanding of financial hygiene practices and the ability to follow monitoring and compliance processes.
- Drive ownership of tasks, balance priorities and ensure deadlines are met while maintaining high standards.
- Demonstrate a proactive mindset and positive outlook, drive effective collaboration and problem-solving.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and MS Teams.
- Demonstrate flexibility and embrace change. Adapts seamlessly to evolving work environments and AI technology.
- Takes responsibility for personal development and actively seek opportunities for continuous growth.
