Role Purpose
As Junior End User Support you will play a key role in ensuring colleagues receive timely, high‑quality support, enabling them to work effectively and confidently with our systems and tools.
This role is suited to an individual at the early stages of their IT career who is committed to developing their technical capability while providing a consistently high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a first point of contact for IT‑related queries, providing support via telephone, email, remote assistance, and face‑to‑face engagement.
- Log, prioritise, and progress incidents and service requests in line with agreed processes and service levels.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
- Provide support for core applications including Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, and other business tools.
- Carry out routine administrative tasks such as software installations, password resets, and system updates.
- Escalate complex issues appropriately to senior members of the team or specialist support functions.
- Follow established procedures and contribute to the development of support documentation and knowledge resources.
- Maintain accurate asset and inventory records to support effective lifecycle management.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service and communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues at all levels.
Skills & Experience
- An understanding of Microsoft 365 and common business applications.
- IT qualification or similar
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering a positive user experience.
- A structured approach to problem-solving with good attention to detail.
- Ability to work within defined processes and manage competing priorities effectively.
