Konexo was developed in 2011 by global law firm Eversheds Sutherland. As pioneers in alternative legal service provision, Konexo provides an extended range of legal and compliance services – all supported by advanced technology, smart systems, and bright minds. We work extremely closely with our Financial Services lawyers, identifying, pitching for and winning new client mandates to support firms that are either proactively enhancing their internal compliance systems and controls or reacting to regulatory scrutiny through thematic reviews or enhanced supervision.

Our Financial Services consultancy supports leading banks, fintechs, asset managers and insurance firms with specialist regulatory, compliance and operational resourcing solutions.

 

The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Resourcing Manager to lead and develop Konexo Financial Services’ specialist resourcing capability across financial crime, conduct/compliance and regulatory transformation.

This is a senior, strategically critical role within Konexo Financial Services. The successful candidate will lead the direct sourcing strategy for placements with financial services clients, while also supporting advisory-led, remediation and managed service programmes of work.

This role underpins the success of Konexo Financial Services’ wider service offering and plays a key part in enabling client engagement, revenue growth and long term client relationships. We are therefore looking for a collaborative, highly motivated individual who wants to help grow the business and their career.

 

Key responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor and develop two Resourcers
  • Set clear objectives, drive performance and build capability within the team
  • Ensure resourcing activity aligns to the wider Konexo Financial Service strategy and business objectives

 Resourcing Strategy & Workforce Planning

  • Design and implement a strategic resourcing approach aligned to anticipated demand across Advisory, Remediation/Projects & Learning.
  • Build, maintain and actively manage targeted talent pools aligned to key skills cohorts.
  • Enhance resourcing data capture, search capability and market intelligence

Network Management

  • Source, onboard and manage a network of skilled and experienced contractors
  • Ensure quality, compliance and consistency across all engagements
  • Maintain strong engagement and retention within the contractor community

Client Relationship Management & Business Development

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders across Financial Services
  • Develop tailored resourcing solutions to meet client and project requirements
  • Identify and support opportunities for repeat work and wider Konexo engagements
  • Act as a senior point of contact for resourcing-led client discussions

Service Line Integration

  • Oversee resourcing delivery into three interconnected service lines (Advisory, Remediation Programmes/Projects and Learning)
  • Ensure resourcing solutions are fully integrated with advisory and managed service models

Client Relationship Management & Business Development

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders across Financial Services
  • Develop tailored resourcing solutions to meet client and project requirements
  • Identify and support opportunities for repeat work and wider Konexo engagements
  • Act as a senior point of contact for resourcing-led client discussions

Compliance, Governance & Quality

  • Ensure all resourcing activity complies with regulatory standards, client requirements and internal governance
  • Maintain high quality processes, documentation and controls
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of resourcing frameworks and delivery models

Market Insight & External Profile

  • Stay abreast of regulatory developments, conduct risk trends and financial services market dynamics
  • Network with industry professionals to strengthen Konexo’s resourcing capability and market presence
  • Provide informed market insights to support pricing, workforce planning and client strategy

 

Skills and experience

We are looking to speak to candidates who hold the following skills and experience:

  • Experience of leading, mentoring or developing resourcing teams
  • Experience of recruiting for contractors within Compliance, Financial Crime, AML/KYC or other Financial Services specialisms.
  • Experience of working in either a recruitment agency, financial services search firm, consultancy or similar environment.
  • Excellent working knowledge and practical application of IR35 legislation including assessment of contractor status, advising stakeholders on associated risks and working with internal teams to ensure compliant hiring outcomes.
  • A strong existing candidate network within financial services compliance or financial crime.
  • Experience using Bullhorn or similar applicant tracking systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work at speed and manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset.
