At Eversheds Sutherland, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for an Internal Communications Executive to join our Corporate Affairs team and play a key role in helping colleagues stay informed, connected and engaged across our global firm.
About the role
Reporting to the Internal Communications Manager, you will support the delivery of high-quality, effective internal communications that reflect our strategic priorities and values. Acting as an ‘in-house reporter’, you will work with stakeholders across the business to translate complex information into clear, engaging content for our internal channels.

Key responsbilities
- Source, draft, edit and publish internal news and content across a range of channels, including the firm’s intranet
- Maintain and update intranet pages, ensuring content is accurate, timely and aligned to house style
- Plan and schedule communications activity in line with agreed editorial processes and timelines
- Create simple, on-brand visual content for digital and print channels, including intranet, digital signage and Microsoft Teams
- Support the creation of video content where required
- Build technical capability across communications platforms and tools
- Produce regular analytics and insights to measure effectiveness and inform continuous improvement
- Support firmwide and Executive communications initiatives
- Help ensure internal communications align with the firm’s strategic, commercial and responsible business priorities
Skills & experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Confidence using Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
- An interest in digital communications and emerging technologies, including GenAI, with sound judgement and respect for confidentiality
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- The ability to work at pace, respond to changing priorities and remain calm under pressure
- Effective stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to build relationships across all levels of the firm
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work closely with colleagues across Communications, Responsible Business, Design, and legal and business services teams
- A positive, proactive mindset and a professional approach at all times
