Our team
We have a growing Funds Finance team working with banks and funds across our offices in London, Luxembourg and Ireland. The team is led in London by Nick Swiss and Ben Davis, Sara Gerling in Luxembourg, and Steve Rodgers in Dublin. Our funds finance practice supports our significant 6-partner UK and European funds practice and works closely with our market-leading US BDC practice. We have ambitious plans to grow our funds finance practice, in response to strong demand from our private funds and bank clients.
Our Finance Group comprises of over 150 lawyers in 30+ countries and covers corporate debt/leveraged finance, real estate finance, energy & infrastructure finance, funds finance, structured finance and financial restructuring. We have ambitious plans to further build out our practice across the UK and internationally.
Role and key responsibilities
We have an opportunity for an Associate/Senior Associate (3PQE+) to join us in London, working as part of our Finance Practice to support a broad range of debt finance transactions across Funds Finance. The candidate will therefore gain experience of working with private funds and banks.
Team members of all levels are expected to be engaged in business development activities, including organising & attending larger set-piece marketing events as well as more ad hoc / opportunistic meetings.

Key Skills and Experience:
We are looking for candidates who:
- Are currently 3PQE+
- Looking for an Associate/Senior Associate role
- Have strong experience specifically in Funds Finance (borrower or lender side)
- Want to work in a highly collaborative and non-hierarchical environment
- Are motivated by delivering a great service for our clients, whilst helping to develop business and provide input on training, marketing, knowledge management and other non-transactional activities
- Are able to work independently as well as with other members of the team
- Have strong client and stakeholder management skills
- At a Senior Associate level, we would be looking for someone who is able to support and develop more junior members of the team as needed
