Your working hours will be 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 7:30am and 5:30pm, with one hour for lunch on a shift pattern basis.
Role and key responsibilities
Main Responsibilities: The role involves ensuring smooth operation of workplace support services, managing issues efficiently, and providing high levels of client care to colleagues and visitors. Tasks include daily floor checks, managing building faults, health and safety inspections, assisting with client meeting room configuration and contractor management.
Client Interaction: Build and maintain trusted relationships with all internal stakeholders and clients. Providing client excellence in all interactions.
Security: Follow site security policies, monitor access control, support new starters and leavers processes, and handle security-based issues confidently.
Health and Safety: The assistant must ensure adherence to health and safety standards, encourage individuals within the office to follow these standards, support on risk assessments, and actively take part in the EHS committee enhancing engagement across the office.
Administrative Tasks: Undertake administrative tasks related to Quality and ISO standards, assist with finance admin, and support wellbeing, charity, diversity, and inclusion activities.
Skills and experience
We are looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar role within professional services.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Flexibility with working hours.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Highly organized.
- Solution-oriented.
- Willing to adapt to changing responsibilities.
- Able to project a professional image.
