The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Technology Consultant with hands-on experience of Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps to join our growing team. You will play a key role in designing and implementing tech-enabled legal solutions, working closely with internal stakeholders and clients to streamline legal operations and enhance service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Solution Design & Delivery: Work closely with clients to understand their legal operational challenges, translating complex business requirements into practical and effective technology solutions that consider people, process, and technology.
- Legal Technology Expertise: Provide expert advice and guidance on various legal technologies, with a strong understanding of Legal Front Door solutions, Matter Management Systems, and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms.
- AI-Enabled Tools & Best Practice: Demonstrate experience using AI-enabled legal tools, with an awareness of their strengths, weaknesses, and best practices for effective and ethical usage.
- Solution Build & Configuration: Design and build working solutions using low-code/no-code platforms, demonstrating the ability to configure and customize systems to meet specific client needs.
- Integration & Automation: Support the integration of legal technology platforms, including working with APIs, and leverage tools like Microsoft Power Platform and Power Automate to build automation and enhance connectivity.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as a client-facing expert, fostering strong relationships with legal and business stakeholders, guiding them through solution design, implementation, and adoption.
- Project Support: Contribute to project success through effective business analysis, documentation, and adherence to project management principles, whether working independently or as part of a wider project team.
- Vendor Management & Best Practice: Collaborate with legal technology suppliers and vendors to stay abreast of product capabilities, emerging trends, and best practices for successful implementation and adoption.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and technology enhancement within client legal departments.
Skills and experience
We are interested in speaking to candidates who hold the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in a legal technology role, ideally within an ALSP, consulting firm, or in-house legal department.
- Demonstrable understanding of core legal technology categories (Legal Front Door, Matter Management, CLM).
- Practical experience with low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Apps, SharePoint, Salesforce, etc.) to configure and build solutions.
- Familiarity with API integrations and experience in leveraging tools like Microsoft Power Automate for automation.
- Experience with AI-enabled legal tools, coupled with an understanding of their capabilities, limitations, and ethical considerations.
- Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills, with a track record of effective stakeholder management.
- Solid understanding of business analysis techniques and some experience in project management methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
