Our team
Our nationally recognised Real Estate practice is known for its collaborative culture and commercial excellence. Based in Leeds, the team works closely with colleagues across the UK and internationally, delivering strategic advice on complex property portfolios and asset management. Role and key responsibilities
We are looking for a driven and commercially astute Associate to join our Real Estate team in Leeds. This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of property matters, with a particular focus on landlord and tenant work, and asset management work for national and global corporate and institutional clients.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Advising on landlord and tenant matters, including lease negotiations, renewals and terminations.
- Supporting property acquisitions, disposals and development projects.
- Managing property portfolios and day-to-day asset management for institutional clients.
- Drafting and negotiating leases, licences, development agreements and associated documents.
- Coordinating with colleagues across the firm on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Contributing to business development and client relationship initiatives.
Skills and experience
Full training and development will be provided but we are looking to speak to candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 2-3 years’ post-qualification experience.
- Strong experience in landlord and tenant work and property asset management.
- Excellent technical skills and commercial awareness.
- A collaborative team player with strong communication and client relationship skills.
- Proactive, organised and able to manage conflicting priorities in their workload.
