The Team

 

The Pricing and Value team supports the Eversheds Sutherland International partnership to deliver profitable growth. We provide support on strategic pricing opportunities and the creation of innovative fee arrangements.

 

Role and key responsibilities

 

  • Reviewing business acceptance rate proposals, and validating discounts
  • Dealing with regular rate queries from the business via multiple international mailboxes
  • Liaising with major stakeholders
  • Locating key framework agreements, review and comprehension of fee arrangements ensuring rates are accurately reflected in SAP
  • Working closely with Rates Manager and Team Leader in designing complex rate structures application to the finance system (SAP)
  • Accurately checking rates in SAP
  • Use of client pricing database
  • Form close links with finance, e-billing teams, and central billing teams  
  • Provide support to the wider business in understanding how the rate process works
  • Assisting with the firm wide annual rate review exercise
  • General rates housekeeping on a monthly basis to ensure existing client and matter rates are correct


Skills and experience

 

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident in dealing with members of the business at all levels
  • Strong organisational and investigative skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Previous knowledge of rates management in a professional services environment desirable
  • Competent in dealing with exchange rates in multi currencies
  • Good knowledge of Excel and other MS packages
