The Role
You will be dealing with internationally recognisable brands, supporting some of the world's leading lawyers, exploiting and developing your professional knowledge and experience. Every day is different but every day is satisfying.
We are looking for an energetic marketing and business development professional, seeking to acquire new experience and develop their careers in a positive new environment. Your role will be to support our Sectors through both internal and external communications and events.
You will be working alongside the Senior Marketing Manager and Managers for our global sectors, liaising with colleagues around the world to implement marketing strategies to promote the firm’s services within these industries. This will include digital marketing, content creation and event management to enhance the firm’s brand presence and client engagement.
You will be supported in your role by the wider Programme Delivery Team, within BD & Marketing, a central team of Marketing Executives, which implement and align firmwide campaigns and thought leadership across all of our business.

Role and key responsibilities
To support the Senior Marketing Manager and Marketing Managers in the delivery of the marketing and business development plan across our global network through:
Digital Marketing:
– Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across various platforms (e.g.LinkedIn, website etc.).
– Monitor and analyse the performance of digital marketing campaigns.
– Optimise website content for SEO to improve search engine rankings and drive traffic.
– Manage email marketing campaigns, including managing the use of Interaction (the firm’s CRM software), to include promoting broader use with our lawyers and centrally maintaining a high quality set for marketing purposes.
Social Media Content Creation:
– Create, curate, and manage content for the sectors social media channels.
– Develop a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posts.
– Collaborate with the design and digital team to produce visually appealing graphics and videos.
Event Management:
– Plan and coordinate sector events and webinars globally.
– Manage event logistics, including venues, catering, and guest lists.
– Promote events through various marketing channels to maximise attendance.
– Evaluate the success of events through measuring ROI and provide recommendations for future improvements.
Thought Leadership Content:
– Develop and publish thought leadership content, including articles, whitepapers, videos and podcasts, to position the firm as an industry leader.
– Collaborate with colleagues and lawyers to create insightful and relevant content that addresses current trends and issues in the sector.
– Promote thought leadership content through digital channels and social media to reach a wider audience.
Brand Management:
– Ensure all marketing materials and communications align with the firm's brand guidelines.
– Collaborate with internal teams to maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels.
Client Engagement:
– Support the business development team in creating pitches and presentations.
– Assist in the delivery of business development activities, including the collation of research materials to support business development campaigns and individual client opportunities.
– Ensure all internal databases and resources capturing capability, experience and client testimonials are comprehensive, up-to-date and shared through internal newsletters.
Other:
– Assist on ad-hoc internal comms projects, events and publications.
– Manage and contribute to wider marketing projects as required.
– Working collaboratively with marketing colleagues across the Programme Delivery Team to support with the wider delivery of key campaigns and initiatives, when require.
– Prepare regular reports on marketing activities, performance metrics, and ROI.
Skills and experience
– Previous marketing and/or business development experience, ideally gained in a fast paced corporate or professional services environment.
– Focused on delivery and deadlines, remaining calm and considered under pressure.
– Enthusiastic, 'can do' approach which inspires confidence in others.
– The ability to work with satellite teams to deliver on time.
– Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
– Capability to generate ideas and explain their merits with clarity and logic
