The Role

As a Finance Analyst within our Finance Service Team, you’ll play a key role in delivering a responsive, efficient and high-quality service to the business.

Working in a fast-paced and collaborative team, you’ll support the retainer and fixed-fee billing process from an Accounts Payable perspective. You’ll be responsible for validating supplier invoices, highlighting them for payment, and managing queries from both internal stakeholders and external suppliers through to resolution.

You’ll focus on service delivery, accuracy and continuous improvement, and you’ll report directly to the Accounts Payable Manager.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the retainer and fixed-fee billing process from an Accounts Payable perspective

  • Validate supplier invoices and highlight them for payment in a timely and accurate manner

  • Manage and resolve queries from the business and suppliers, taking ownership from receipt to resolution

  • Reconcile supplier accounts and identify discrepancies or issues

  • Post high volumes of invoice data accurately and efficiently

  • Own and deliver key daily, weekly and monthly tasks in line with service levels

  • Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and ways of working

  • Act as an ambassador for Finance, delivering a professional and client-focused service

  • Provide guidance to the business on finance policies and procedures

  • Support colleagues within the Accounts Payable team as required

 

Skills and Experience

You’ll be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience working in an Accounts Payable environment

  • Experience reconciling supplier accounts and resolving issues

  • Good working knowledge of Excel

  • The ability to build trusted and effective relationships with stakeholders

  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability for your work

  • Accuracy and efficiency when working with large volumes of data
