Our team

 

Our finance team provides world class financial services to our business. We are looking for Finance Assistant to join our team. This is a key role within the Finance Team and has responsibility for handling queries for the business efficiently and in line with set service levels.

 

Role and key responsibilities

 

Working as part of a fast paced and dynamic team, your remit will be as follows:

  • input supplier third party invoices into our Concur finance system
  • review and maintain the Anticipated Report and ensure that all entries are dealt with in a timely manner
  • monitor the finance email inbox and answer queries as they arise from partners, fee earners and secretaries
  • upload Stamp Duty Returns on ROS and make sure the payments are entered on the SAP system

 

This role will report directly to the Financial Controller in Dublin.

 

Skills and experience

 

We are looking for:

  • Experience in a Global Law Firm desirable
  • Experience and knowledge of Concur and SAP systems desirable
  • Experience of handling queries and incidents effectively and in line with procedures
  • Ability to take ownership of queries by logging and tracking to resolution
  • Ability to identify and implement opportunities for improvement across finance processes
  • Able to own key daily, weekly and monthly tasks and ensure they are completed on time

 

Key competencies:

  • An ability to communicate effectively with the team, senior management and key stakeholders
  • A highly organised approach; energised to drive and deliver a service orientated function
  • Eager to learn and develop into the role
