Role and key responsibilities
We are looking for a talented and ambitious Associate to join our market-leading Data Centre team in our Cardiff office. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects for one of the world’s largest hyperscalers within our most profitable regional office.
- Advising on all aspects of data centre development, leasing and infrastructure projects for a large hyperscaler and other major clients.
- Drafting, negotiating and managing commercial technology, real estate and infrastructure agreements.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external counsel to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Supporting senior team members whilst developing your own client relationships and technical expertise.
- Contributing to the continued growth and profitability for the Cardiff Real Estate team.
Skills and experience
We are looking for:
- Strong academic background and legal training.
- 2-3 years’ post-qualification experience with exposure to a broad range of deals.
- A generalist mindset with flexibility to handle a wide variety of matters.
- Experience of providing first rate client service.
- Exposure to business development activities and a good understanding of how to win work.
- Strong communication skills to build effective relationships with existing and new clients.
- Ability to manage conflicting deadlines and prioritise effectively.
