Role and key responsibilities

The successful candidate will work well individually and as part of a team and will demonstrate our values daily. They should be able to demonstrate the highest quality support by delivering on objectives at every opportunity and be ready to be proactive in helping our business grow and move forwards.  

The successful candidate will:

  • Drive marketing and business development strategy in partnership with the practice group head, international leads, and senior Konexo practitioners, ensuring alignment with business plans.
  • Be a custodian for the Konexo brand, ensuring consistent use of the visual identity whilst constantly developing the brand message internally and externally.
  • Lead campaigns and activities to enhance Konexo’s reputation and brand awareness in the ALSP market.
  • Initiate and implement revenue-generating activities targeting key clients and sectors.
  • Empower and develop team members to own projects and build strong client relationships.
  • Identify and interpret ALSP market and client trends, converting insights into actionable campaigns and sales opportunities.
  • Ensure consistent brand identity and messaging across all channels.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Konexo and its sub-product groups, leading major campaigns and reporting on outcomes.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities, building targeted client development activities.
  • Collaborate across Eversheds Sutherland to integrate Konexo’s offering and add value to traditional legal services.
  • Act as an ambassador for Konexo, ensuring alignment with firm-wide marketing and BD initiatives.
  • Support the internationalisation of the practice group, liaising with overseas stakeholders and the US team.
  • Provide business intelligence on competitors and market trends to inform strategy.
  • Manage the marketing budget in partnership with Finance and the practice group head.
  • Work with Business Services and other functions (PR, Internal Comms, Design, Digital) to deliver on performance metrics and provide seamless support.
  • Support firm-wide marketing initiatives as needed.

 

Skills and experience

We are looking for:

  • Experience of working in an alternative legal services or business consulting environment
  • Significant experience in a marketing and/or business development role
  • People management experience
  • Ability to develop credible relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels within a business
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience of using market/client insights to drive growth initiatives and enhance the firm’s reputation
  • Team player with a passion to develop a real competitive advantage in the marketplace
  • Creative, innovative mindset
  • Be open to challenging yourself and others to support/build knowledge of the practice
