The Role
People Analytics is critical to the success of the HR function at ESI, ensuring we can support the firm in making evidence based and data-driven decisions about our partners and employees. We want to centralise analytics work across HR to drive efficiency, accuracy, capability and risk compliance. It enables us to align to and support our People Strategy, and underpins the role of HR Business Partners in their conversations with the business. This role consolidates a number of Reward facing activities within the team as well as providing exciting opportunities to get involved in broader analysis.
Key Responsibilities
• Providing pay modelling for partners and employees.
• Assisting in the management of the annual pay review process within SuccessFactors Compensation, including Compensation Statements, reporting and analysis.
• Gender and Ethnicity Pay Gap reporting.
• Preparing for EU Pay Transparency Directive Reporting.
• Maintaining the accuracy of reward-related data within the HR system.
• Conducting ad-hoc analysis and data modelling to support HR and business initiatives.
• Partnering with HR and functional teams to gather requirements for new reports and dashboards, and design solutions that meet their needs
• Acting as an internal consultant owning the design, build and delivery of impactful and insightful dashboards, visualisations and reports
• Identifying and troubleshooting data discrepancies and pro-actively work with HR and functional teams to resolve issues.
Skills and experience
• Strong analytical skills are crucial for pay/scenario modelling, conducting ad-hoc analysis, and data modelling. This includes the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
• Maintaining the accuracy of data within the HR system and identifying data discrepancies require a keen eye for detail to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Proficiency in HR systems like SuccessFactors Compensation would be beneficial for managing the annual pay review process.
• Familiarity with Power BI and other Microsoft 365 applications is important for creating dashboards, visualisations, and reports.
• Effective communication skills are needed to partner with HR and functional teams and act as an internal consultant. This includes the ability to clearly convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Partnering with HR and functional teams requires strong collaboration and teamwork skills to ensure that solutions meet the needs of various stakeholders.
