We have one of the largest full service Real Estate teams of any global law practice and are consistently ranked in directories worldwide. We act for 62 of the FTSE 100, 58 of the Fortune 100 and 92 of the Fortune 200 and are also on the panels of 25 major international banks and several hundred global companies.

Eversheds Sutherland’s leading real estate team provides intelligent real estate advice on a domestic and international level. Our service combines pragmatic commercial advice with award-winning technological innovations tailored to our clients’ needs.

Role and key responsibilities

This is a hands on, client facing role within our core real estate team. You will have your own files and will take ownership of your matters and deal with them through to their conclusion. You will report into a Partner and will also be supervised and assisted by other solicitors in the team.

• Dealing with high volume, quick paced work and transactions.
• Adhering to strict client key performance indicators.
• Client contact – transactional and relationship management including feeding into weekly and monthly client updates.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of transactional documentation including leases, surrenders, lease renewals and licences, the negotiation of easements and land transfers, title investigation and dealing with Land Registry applications.

Skills and experience

We are looking for:

• Experience of working in an office environment is desirable but not essential
• Excellent communication skills to build effective relationships with existing and new clients
• “Can do” attitude and prepared to go the extra mile to ensure we are able to meet our clients’ needs
• Ability to self-motivate and work under pressure
• Ability to manage and prioritise conflicting deadlines
• Experience of real estate is desirable but not essential
