The role

This is a stimulating role for an experienced marketer seeking a diverse, challenging role focusing on growing the Firm in the UK market. It offers the opportunity to work directly with partners, other business professionals, external organisations and clients.

The successful candidate will work with the Head of Practice Group Marketing, Senior Office Partners and our senior practice and sector marketing and business development leads to support growth in our UK office network through execution of the BD, marketing and communications plan.

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely with head of Practice Group Marketing to help formulate and drive forward the marketing strategy for the Firm’s UK offices
  • Lead on the development, implementation and delivery of client facing activities, providing our Senior Office Partners with insights on clients and business development opportunities
  • Project manage and deliver client facing events, from large gatherings to intimate dinners, tracking ROI and focusing on KPIs
  • Support colleagues across our marketing team on the UK execution of practice and sector activities, including client facing legal updates and briefings, implementing best practice and tracking client engagement
  • Support key partners and stakeholders in client targeting and business development initiatives in and around the Firm’s UK office network

 

 

Skills and experience

  • Experience in a BD and marketing role, ideally within a law firm or a professional services firm
  • Experience in delivering, or supporting the delivery of marketing plans, campaigns and initiatives including strategic events, creation and activation of thought leadership, marketing communications and business development activities
  • Ability to prioritise the right activities that deliver value to the business
  • Ability to use influencing skills to gain credibility with stakeholders across all levels of seniority within the firm
  • Sharp analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the market. You will interpret legal and client specific issues in order to devise effective approaches, taking into account client perspectives
