Our Team and the Role 
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a HR Support Administrator to join the International HR Operations team based in Birmingham. The HR Support team is a HR Shared Service which is at the very heart of the employee experience for all jurisdictions therefore German, French or Dutch language skills would be advantageous.

 

You will work as part of a professional and energetic team that is at a pivotal point of change, introducing new technology and process to enhance our HR service delivery. You can expect to get involved right across the spectrum of HR activity to make a real difference to our business. Our team plays a crucial role in supporting the international business across the entire employee lifecycle across three hubs:

  • Onboarding and  Admin Hub 
  • Offboarding and Changes Hub 
  • Cyclical Activity Hub 


Key responsibilities
The purpose of the role is to provide seamless administrative support to the HR function, covering all parts of the employee lifecycle. You will work closely with the wider international HR Team and will need to have excellent relationship management skills. 
Supporting colleagues across our UK and International offices your role will include some of the following duties:

 

 

  • Managing the onboarding process and carrying out right to work checks
  •  Ensuring the employment screening process is followed for new joiners and being aware of different jurisdiction requirement
  • Completing induction and welcome call with new colleagues 
  • Handling queries via email and phone from the wider business and HR Team
  • Managing the leaver process
  • Processing contractual changes during cyclical promotional activity and ad hoc requests 
  • Assisting with projects and internal /external audits
  • Completing reference requests
  • Supporting the entire HR shared services function, including payroll, systems, and L&D
  • Supporting with the graduate recruitment cycle, reviewing applications and scheduling of video interviews
  • Supporting cyclical reward activities
  • Ensuring all queries and processes are completed in a timely manner within the agreed service level agreement (SLA)


Skills and experience
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

 

  • Language Skills: Proficiency in German, Dutch, or French is desirable to support our international colleagues
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to prioritise and manage high volumes of work while maintaining quality and accuracy
  • Time Management: Effectively manage your own time and work at pace
  • Employee Focus: Put the employee experience at the heart of all tasks
  • Organisational Skills: Fantastic organisational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Proactivity: Willing to challenge and recommend changes and improvements
  • Team Experience: Experience working in a fast-paced team, ideally globally and in a HR Service Centre environment
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, including high-quality written English
  •  Administrative Skills: Strong administrative skills and ability to think on your feet
  • HR Knowledge: Understanding of HR processes and/or HR policy is a distinct advantage
  • IT Skills: Good working knowledge of Word and Excel
