For the Data, Cyber & Tech practice group, we are looking for a:

 

Trainee Lawyer (Advocaat-stagiair) – Rotterdam /  Amsterdam

 

This renowned and ambitious team consists of 7 lawyers and is led by Olaf van Haperen (Partner) and Robbert Santifort (Principal Associate). You will be involved in our large advisory and litigation practice focused on this fascinating legal field—one that is rapidly evolving due to developments in AI and the challenges of cybersecurity. The EU, through its Digital Agenda, continually adapts the regulatory landscape with initiatives such as the EU AI Act, the EU Data Act, and NIS2.

 

Your work will primarily consist of advising our clients in these areas, as well as dealing with privacy matters and technology-related contracts and disputes.

 

We are looking for a trainee lawyer who:

  • Has completed a degree in Dutch law;

 

  • Has a strong affinity with this legal field, demonstrated through internships, student jobs, or other relevant activities;

 

  • Has an independent working style, but also enjoys working in a team;

 

  • Possesses entrepreneurial spirit and creativity;

 

  • Has a practical approach and a proactive, client-oriented mindset;

 

  • Has excellent command of both Dutch and English.
